i really like the headcanon of Blackquill and Klavier being friends during their rookie years as prosecutors, before Blackquill was incarcerated.inspired by a fic bel and i have in mind, they're supposedly on a business trip, but of course Klavier is going to pretend it's a leisure trip for as long as he can.

he probably made fun of klavier's music constantly (in a well spirited manner), but listened to every single song by his buddy.
i like to imagine that pre-incarceration simon was less uptight and more relaxed, if a little dorky and awkward. it would clash with rookie klavier's wild personality a lot, they'd make a cute duo.

you should draw more backgrounds! you're really good at them.
not to mention it makes conveying a mood a bit easier with added lighting and environment that comes with drawing backgrounds!
