CatFish Jones is basically a catfish in a walking mechanised tank suit (tank in the ‘fish habitat’ sense not the ‘rolling war machine’ sense).

In this incarnation (or iteration if you would prefer) Jones appears to be a slightly less than sentient (let alone genius) catfish, leading people to believe that perhaps he (it) isn’t responsible for constructing the mechanical mobile platform, but the mech suit itself initiated its own construction taking the time to fill itself with water and purification and filtering systems to keep within it the only animal in the vicinity – a catfish – to use as a figure head.

What purpose would artificial life have to cover its existence by masquerading as a simple hermetically sealed walking self-sustaining pressurised gyroscopically balanced hyperbolic environment suit? Could its purpose be sinister? Could it have just been lonely?

The only way to know for sure is to capture it and dissect both the suit and the catfish, so say the bounty hunters, techno-collectors and shady weapon makers constantly stalking Jones.
