Hey Todd, would you mind if I used this image for a homemade t-shirt for Con? I'll even make one for you

I'm not even a huge Polaris fan - but this piece has stayed in my mind as a result of the very vivid colors. Love this, sir.

This is really really awesome. The pose is great, the rendering of the lighting is very accurate, along with the anatomy. But the thing I like most about this is the thick to thin line ratio. It's done just perfectly! I've been trying to get it correctly for weeks but I can't seem to do it. Do you do normal lines first and then expand on some corners and curves or do you just straight away make them thicker while inking?

Thanks!
When it comes to line weight variation, I have a vision pf how thick/thin the lines should be when I initially lay them down. I then go in and beef up certain areas that I feel could use a little more punch, if necessary.

Haven't seen Lorna Dane in a while. Nice although a bit more buxom than my memory paints her.

Great work especially since it is traditionally done.

Does Kuretake now have waterproof ink? I could only find the water soluble sumi ink . . . Or . . . re you laying down colors first?

I'm doing the Kuretake first. The Copics are not bleeding the Kuretake ink!

I see. One of these days I'm going to have to break down, crack open the wallet and buy some of those . . .
