Heck-ton of Catalpa Tree photos. Every year it grows these flowers that we liked to call “Popcorns”, and when you pluck one you’re able to take the stem from the bottom off and suck nectar out. It isn’t much but it tasted very sweet growing up, so it’s a small tradition I do to celebrate the time my childhood friend and I would pluck them all afternoon. Sad part is the firefly’s find the food source quickly and in time it is hard to find a flower that doesn’t have larvae in it.
