This is an old photo. very old. this was taken a few years ago at an STR concert. Its "I killed the prom queen", playing one of their first shows.This was one of the first screamo/hardcore bands i ever saw, not to mention one of the first live music shots i ever took. I know its a crappy shot, thats because i took it from my first cam, a Sony P7, which from memory had like 3 mega pixels.
This was the beginning of where my life is today. I got into photography this night more seriously than ever. I hooked up with Sophie (long story), began to hang out with my mate Scott more, and my musical tastes just exploded.

It's pretty cool that you have a shot of the show that was a turning point for you. It sounds fucked, but I had a similar experience hearing some mates of mine play Damnit at a school assembly back in the 10th grade. It was a while ago now, but it made me realise I really fucking like music. My tastes have progressed since then

the description means so much, this really is a picture that speaks 1000 words
nice too look back and have something that you can say "that was aturning point". i see it every time i look into my girlfriend's eyes
i wouldn't say the shot was crap, you may not like it compared to the work your doing now, but the DOF is good, there's a lot of high detail stuff in this shot, it's a great colour, and you didn't get the usual gig photo with someone's head infront of you absorbing all the light (or worse, flash)!!
