i used to feel so jealous of people who got to live through the 80s as teens or whatever. but i kind of made peace with that and am now glad for the internet, youtube, etc. and especially being able to see it all with hindsight.
also
that awkward moment when the girl-you-hate-with-a-passion-because-she's-always-snubbing-you tells you her mum went on a date with duff in the late 80s and she's actually not making it up. now that's much more worse.

Actually.. Mum doesn't like GN'R..
It's daddy.. He was the one who made me love Rock.. Because when I was a five year old, he had Bruce Springsteen, Queen and Guns N'Roses CDs and we didn't listen to anything else.. So..
And he says:
"If Guns N'Roses are in town, we'll se them."
"If Slash is in town, we'll see him."
"If Metallica are in town, we'll see them."
Kinda creepy.. My dad and I share the same taste of music.. AND I'M 13 YEARS OLD..!! AND HE IS 43 YEARS OLD..!!

When I was little I would play the wah pedal for my dad while he played Lemon Song by Led Zeppelin on guitar, Lemon Song was always my favorite to hear.

One time I got bored when I was home alone so I decided to dress like a Glam Metalist. I put on my sister's tights, my mom's mascara and wrote eat me all over my arms. Then, my parents come home with all these people I never met before. Soooo, I had to hide for sixx hours on the roof of my house. Just me, drinking coke, wearing nothing but boxers and tights, and glammed up as fuck, it was sooo fun.
