Just for kicks I've started taking a stab at redesigning some JLA characters. I'm not going for what I'd like to see in normal continuity, but just tinkering. I started with Flash, and kind of drew this thinking about the physical effects of running fast: gave him goggles for the wind, thick soled shoes for the friction, and a lightweight harness to kept his legs from hyper-extending (I know, his "speed forcefield" makes all this moot, but this is where my mindset was).
