I've been feeling a bit lost with my art lately. There's a lot of stuff coming up for me--- Senior show, job applications, graduation. Anyway, I'm sure I'll snap out of it, it's just a bit much to handle.Acrylic, assembled in photoshop.

I know this feeling all too well... it's easy to feel a little lost in terms of your own art. I've been feeling like this a lot, actually. Being in college really opened my eyes in terms of where I stand. I wasn't the top kid in class any longer (ha, that sounds so egotistical! but that's how I felt)
Only recently have I begun to realize that you can't constantly compare yourself to others. People have been telling me that all my life, but it's only just started to sink in for me.
Of couse, I don't know if that's the problem you're having, exactly, but hey! I figured maybe it'd be nice to share, let you know that you're not alone in terms of artistic struggles. <83

I love the feeling I get peeking into a heart with sadness. I'm right there with the character but quietly hiding a world away... nice job. Good storytelling.

Hang in there, I just love the perspective of the drawing. It makes the viewer feel like they are invading on this sad girl's moment by peering around the tree. Wonderful job!

There's a Polish short story about little orphan lost in the snow - her new minders forget about her and not long afterwards child has to walk alone through the forest. Unfortunately, wolves find her and probably kill her. Your work reminds me of this sad story.

ahh, i know exactly how you're feeling... i just got finished with school a month ago and i was feeling (and still do) the exact same way as you are. it's bound to go away. and your art is great, don't worry, don't hesitate 
this one especially looks sooo cute and really well executed! and hey, at least you still feel like drawing in this mind state. i was all burnt out and didn't wanna do any art :/ i'm slowly getting out of that mood

This image is so lovely, i LOVE how you paint your images and how fairly simple the shapes and colors are, not too much that it overtakes the image, and not too little that it's flat. Just enough to convey what you want and how you want it. I also love your way of doing expressions, they're so vivid and full of life! TnT THIS ONE BEING NO EXCEPTION! I love the enmasse of BLUNESSS along with the red scarf/glove/hat c-c-c-ombo works so well to pop her out of the image. The whole composition focuses the picture on her, which i think is amazing...Because composition is my natural enemy in life :<
AND ON THE OTHER NOTE *facessquishes* MAWwwww I'm so sorry loveloves, even if i tell you how extremely talented you are, showcasing your work, job apps etc are EXCEPTIONALLY frustrating and it seriously makes you question how good you are/is this what i want to show. But things like this make you come out stronger in the longrun and have a critical eye for what you are producing to show future clients! Now that said i think you'll do an exceptionally job, you're talented, have a good style, you know what you're doing and from what i know, you're a sweetheart too *extra points for youuu*

Agh I know how that is. Just don't stress out too much about it, otherwise the anxiety will show in your work. It was really hard to pick and choose what I should polish most, especially since I'm a bit of a control freak and dislike showing any unfinished work (especially my reel).
I recommend focusing on one or two things you're really good at/enjoy doing and really market that. Also making your booth very unique/colorful helps!
