It reminds me of the scene in the Disney movie, Tarzan. When he's looking at Jane's sock. I think the resemblence to that scene is hilarious and awesome.

This is hilarium, he looks like he can't believe that this girl has appendages hanging off of her. Probably thinks she is a mutant lol. I like how you made it so that mermaids/mermen don't know about us but we know about them. It would definitely freak me out if the next time I got in the ocean a merman just came up and grabbed my leg.

he looks like he's holding a dirty sock. of course, he wouldn't know what a sock is if it hit him in the head...
very cute pic, i love it. too bad the motion in the water looks somewhat simple. ever thought about fading the edges of those lines, or doing bubbles instead?

no i definitely appreciate the suggestion! if i had spent more time on this i'm sure i would have worked on the water more- i agree it's not the best part. but this was more of a quickie so i'm not too worried about it.
