Oh, I see. Because at first it looked like they were boiling alive in the sun, which I'd imagine would be extremely painful, but I guess cartoon-ish melting's okay. Haven't found anything worthwhile about it myself but I'm sure someone will enlighten me at some point.

I like this! It reminds me somewhat of Salvador Dali's work. The only thing I would suggest is to blur the lines a bit, because they seem a bit sharp in contrast to the background. But good job!
