If I turned into Twilight from MLP, I would personally feel embarrassed. Having hooves really doesn't seem like it's easy to pick up stuff, so I'd have to use my mouth on occasion. And I don't know how to use a unicorn horn, so using magic doesn't really seem possible. And it'd be really hard to try to communicate with other equestrian societies.
