All the official canon characters have been around for 19 years now!
The exception to this is Lammy, Mr. Pickles, and Truffles. These three first appeared in 2010, if I remember correctly.

That's right! Happy Tree Friends first started in December 24, 1999. That was 19 years ago. Time sure flies!

Yeah, about Snowy: It wasn't until JUST a little after informing you of this do I realize that the person who uploaded this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3jcKt⦠is actually a fan of HTF, not an actual person working on the show. Sorry for the misconception, and for getting Snower's name wrong. The scene where the lone surviving ant sees their interpretation of Nicky (Another great looking character) defines Happy Tree Friends in a nutshell. I had no intention to be missleading; I was just mistaken.

Yes, I am very familiar with Snowers and Nicky. Snowers' owner, Nemao, is a great and talented animator!
I also loved that episode in which they kill the ants. I hate those ants so much!! They're sadistic little idiots that killed Sniffles a few times.

A fan-made sequel to an episode where sniffles gets turned inside out, and somehow I wasn't disturbed by that. One of those moments where something gross is just too weird for you to be grossed out about.

That is true. HTF takes cartoon violence and shows the wacky, absurd side of it. If that makes any sense to you. It's just like Itchy and Scratchy but with cuter characters and a larger variety of animals.
