I know this was only gonna be a one shot, but, some people asked for a second one. Maybe a series if you guys want? So here you guys go! This is set the day after the last one. Also, Sans and Papyrus are not related to Gaster.

Reader P.O.V
You shrugged your favorite jacket and trudged towards the open door. You grabbed your earbuds on the way out and plugged them into your phone. You went out the door and into the arctic winds. You turned around and locked the door behind you. You zipped up your jacket and popped the earbuds in. One of your favorite songs came on. Discord. You mouthed the lyrics to yourself, on the way to the coffee shop.
I'm not a fan of puppeteers, but I've a nagging fear, someone else is pulling at the strings.

Something terrible is going down, through the entire town, wreaking anarchy and all that it brings.

I can't sit idly, no I can't move at all.

I'd curse the name, the one behind it all.

Discord. I'm howling at the moon, and sleeping in the middle of a summer afternoon.

Discord. Whatever did we do, to make you take our world away?

Discord. Arrre we your prey alone? Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?

Discord. We won't take it anymore, so take your tyranny away.

I'm fine with changing status quo, but not in letting go, now the world is being torn apart.

That was always a good song to listen to, no matter the circumstances. You closed the distance to the coffee shop and opened the door, soon welcomed by blissful heat. You pulled out your headphones and popped them into your pocket. You sighed and unzipped your jacket. You walked up to the counter, greeted by the practiced smile of the worker stationed there.
"What would you like miss?" the worker said with fake cheer. You ordered a medium (f/d) and waited.

A young worker with dark blue eyes and brown hair gave you your coffee. "Here you go miss! Hope you enjoy!" The smile the worker gave you was real. So was the positive cheer. It was nice to see some people who actually enjoyed work. You nodded and took the warm beverage. You turned. You looked to the back to find a familiar skeleton sitting in the corner. Next, you did the unexpected. You walked slowly to the booth he was in, and sat across from him.

He looked up from his notebook with a frightened look on his face. Why would he be frightened? Maybe it was because he thought a human was telling him to get out. When he say you, his face softened, and became yellow in surprise. "Hi." Hi? Seriously? Nice job (y/n)! A real conversation starter! "H-Hey" he replied, with the tiniest yellow blush on his cheekbones.

Ok, time to start a conversation! Wait, no need, he already was saying something. "I didn't think you'd sit there. W-We just met yesterday." Aww, he was stuttering. Oh wait, he waiting for a reply.
"Well, I don't see any good reason not to become more acquainted than we are." He breaks a nervous smile, and you hold back a chuckle.

You realize he had an iced mocha. (Don’t judge) And you decide to be the worst person ever. "Hey, that a pretty COOL drink you got there" OMG you really just made that terrible pun. He groaned in and rolled his eyes. "You're just like Sans." Who was Sans? Is that a bad thing? Oh, wait. He was smiling. Good thing then.

He must've seen the confused expression because he explained. "Sans is my friend who also happens to be another skeleton. He makes annoying puns every day." You let out a silent 'Ooh'

You talked for hours after that. You learned he was the former Royal Scientist in the Underground. He seemed really closed about the topic. Your phone beeped and you looked down. It was your friend, F/N. She said, 'Hey can you come to mine like right now?' Being the nice person you were, you said yes. You looked up to Gaster. "Sorry. I kinda have to go." He nodded in understanding. You got up and smiled at him. He had yellow on his cheekbones when you waved and walked away.

Gaster P.O.V
I watch her walk away. There was a tug on my soul. It was trying to come out to her. I put my hand on the space where my soul is and pushed it back in. Could it be the foreign thing called love? She's a human. Society wouldn't accept it. But I could. And I'm pretty sure she could too. That's all that mattered. My one full open eye drifted back to the table. There was a ripped corner of paper. I picked it up. It had a number on it and words down below.

'Call me! <3.' There was a heart. Yes, I was sure of it. I smiled and clutched the paper like a lifeline. Like a rope saving me from falling off a cliff. Like a light in the void.

I didn't need machines and what not to work it out. It was quite obvious to me, that this was well and truly, real love. I smiled and walked away
