Interesting as in canon, Celestia (Or rather, Takeo) wanted to escape being 'boring' and took the mask of Celestia Ludenburg. Here, she never createsΒ that identify.

Ooo.. This is cool. Interesting Idea! Switching out the talents. I like how you kept all the color palettes the same for each character. It is also very well drawn! Good job! I actually didn't recognize some of the characters, (Like Chihiro, Hagakure, and Mondo.) And some of them were pretty easy to see what they were. (Leon, Aoi, Celes, and Toko.) I'm still gonna guess.
Here is my guess:Β
1. Gambler- Leon Kuwata (I think it suits him very well. And he gets set on fire. Appropriate.)
2. Soldier- Aoi Asahina (Interesting choice. So she would be Kirigiri's Twin.)
3. Fortune Teller- Junko Enoshima (What's there to say? She rocks it.)
4. Luck- Celestia Ludenburg (Or would she go by Taeko Yasuhiro?)Β
5. Outlaw Biker- Toko Fukawa (I wonder how she will spread on Monokuma's toast. What, too soon?)Β
6. Baseball Player- Byakuya Togami (Yes..He Dies! Hallelujah! The prick dies! He kinda Looks more like a Golf Player.)
7. Detective- Kiyotaka Ishimaru (So he went from as loud as elephant to barely saying anything. Wonderful.)
8. Hall Monitor- Yasuhiro Hagakure (Wait a minute, I thought he got held back 3 years. Can't wait to see him go Super Saiyan! And actually being useful!)
9. Fanfic Creator- Sakura Ogami (Aww.. back before her get ripped workout. Adorable! Also Original best character in DR is back! You know, before Chiaki existed.)
10. Heir- Sayaka Maizono (So she will actually get some Character development instead of being a potato! Ah, Finally!)Β
11. Martial Artist- Chihiro Fujisaki (Well, Chihiro did say that he wanted to be more manly.)
12. Fashionista- Kyoko Kirigiri (Fabulous. She kinda reminds me of Yashiro's mom from DR:AD. Except more, Purple.)Β
13. Swimmer- Mondo Owada (I actually did not recognize him at first. He doesn't have the pompadour!)
14. Author- Makoto Naegi (Yes finally! Someone gave Neagi a spine! And he is a part time Serial Killer. Exciting!)
15. Programmer- Hifumi YamadaΒ (So basically, Hifumi. Nothing new here folks. Just Hifumi.)
16. Idol- Mukuro Ikusaba (Oh so she still dies in Chapter 1. Ok then. Still. No. Character. Development. At least in DR1.)Β
That means if we are going by the survivors of the first game, then they would be:
Makoto (Like he was going to die),
Ishimaru (Ahh, we can all be happy. The fan fav lives),
Celestia (Yeah, a female protag lives! Too Soon?),
Junko (Ok. Junko never dies anyway, so what else is new.),
Sayaka (Oh, so now Makoto can hook up with her.),
and Mondo (Yes, The bromance lives!).Β
And Kirigiri would be the Mastermind.Β

Haha... yeah I guess it's kinda tough. Lessee Sakura's otaku, Kirigiri's fashionista, Naegi's writer, Maizono's supposed to be the heir, Togami's baseball, Fukawa's gang leader, Yamada's programmer, Ishimaru's detective, Chihiro's ultimate fighter, Celes is lucky girl, Mondo's swimmer, Mukuro's idol, Junko's fortune teller, and Hagakure's hallmonitor (i had trouble figuring out how he'd look and whelp whatever).

It took me like fifteen minutes but I think I figured out who has which talent.
Also, if Otaku Sakura isn't just the cutest thing I've ever seen. Biker Kirigiri too.

I'm still not 100% sure what Togami is, but by process of elimination I want to say Fashionista. Everyone else is pretty straightforward though.
