Just an FYI, this manip is subject to change.This was a custom for a member of a SIM game I play. She had such wonderful ideas and she really helped me the whole way through! I'm kind of still working on the shadows of the grass, and there's something else that's getting to me, nonetheless, here we are. Feel free to express you opinions in the comments box.

Agreed. I was so worried about preserving colors that I didn't want to mess with shadows.. But I suppose I've come to realize colors aren't as important as overall feelings. ;-;
I also should've added highlights to the grass and darkened the hair among other things.. But what can I do now. I'm just glad it's done and that I can look back and see what's wrong. Thank you, by the way. It's really helpful hearing what other people see, especially you. c':

Thank you!!! This was originally going to be an overcast manip, but near the end it was changed to sunset! The mane was so long and I knew I just had to illuminate it. Those kind of sunset pictures always get me. c':

About a month! But this is my first manip with CS2 (formerly used GIMP), so about half the time was learning the software! c:

Yeah, I made a huge leap from GIMP to CS6 XD took me a long time to get used to it, but it's helped my art alot
