I got to draw FE9 Ike for the FE Compendium project!I'm really grateful that I got to contribute to the project. Even if you don't like or care for Fire Emblem, I urge you to go check out the gallery because there are a lot of amazing artists on the project! There are about 700+ characters, and we've already finished half of them, each by a different artist.Β

I really like the direction your art style is taking. Detailed, precise, full of color and contrast, beautiful!
They had something similar done for Final Fantasy 7 on "eyes on final fantasy". Its nice to see people do this kind of thing for their favorite games.

Hehhehe, I know i repeat this a lot but this has strong Cipher feels. Our boy looks handsome and heroic here with the light reflecting on his brilliant sword, and possibly Soren's wind magic surrounding him.Β

Mission accomplished! It was really weird 'cause I didn't like how his face was in the original sketch but I managed to make him turn out okay...
A smarter and more clever person than me would say that the wind is foreshadowing his hero status as the Hero of Blue Flames

Sometimes color can make a face look better than just the sketched face.
A truely smarter and more clever person would say that the wind is his very presence emitting such a strong aura it can be seen visibly, but I am not one to refute you so I only put that there as a suggestion.
