Description
I knowΒ I don't usually post WIPs but....whatever, this one looks finished enough so I guess it's ok (:(the original is a fullbody painting and currently 12100x6200 lol)
Anyway, some Rabbit studies stuff because I can actually use him for university projects which Im really really happy about.
I'll post the massively gigantic one once it's done. So like in 15-16 years or so. That's a pretty optimistic estimate.

Thank you, I kinda really like painting fur, it works well with the fact that I'm a detail addict when it comes to these things....

I really like Rabbit's concept. He's such a lively little guy (or big)
good painting!

Thank you very much!
He doesn't really have a ''fixed'' size, he can appear as big or as small as he wants, generally he's as big as a cat tho (:

Very interesting interpretation of Falkor,hi,hi. At least that's what this picture/creature reminds me of

To be honest I've never seen the movie so I wouldn't really know xD
Rabbit has been a part of my art for quite some time now, his ''final'' design is only a couple years old but he's always been around in a way or another (:

Well that's what I call detail !Β
I love how you mixed the scale-like texture with the fur on him ;o; I remember you mentioning he's a mix of reptilians and a rabbit right ? (:Β
I think this really gives the information about his skin texture and all, it's just awesome to see ! As well as that mouth of his with the little sharp looking teeth ! I always wondered what his mouth would look like such as colors and all C: And this is just giving the information I was looking for, I never knew how to picture that all in my previous drawings of him :,] !Β
And damn you work on big canvas sizes ! My Photoshop would not be able to handle such a huge file I think :,D I can only imagine how much detail you would be able to put into your drawings when working on that size !Β
Amazing work C: !

Thanks a lot man (:
Yeah he technically is a mix between a lizard and a rabbit, so he has kinda-ish scaled skin on the non-furry parts...
Also I don't usually paint on canvases that big, it just kinda happened since I started working on the head on a big canvas then decided to add the rest of the body later xD

You're welcome C: !Β
Haha I know that situation, though the program I work in more lately, Paint Tool Sai, seems to not like it whenever I do so :,D The program can only work with 6000 pixels max. for some reason. So whenever I go beyond those numbers Sai will crash | D pff...
You must have a good computer that your Photoshop can manage such a huge file though!Β
