Take a wild guess who this is.Well, anyway, I said I was working on something Oban Star Racers related in my journal. I just wasn't expecting him to turn out as well as he did.
Jordan is now done. Though it shouldn't be any surprise that he is my favorite character from the series and that I was feeling very nostalgic. I had fun painting this.

Thank you! It was actually our small conversation at AO about Oban that got me feeling nostalgic enough to do this.
With how simply the characters were drawn, you need to do modifications if you do something detailed. He totally needed a belt, as it gives something to look at instead of a simple line that cuts him across the waist. A detailed and colored profile of Molly I did a while ago also had the logo on the shoulder, so I decided to do the the same for this.
In all honesty, Jordan is a boxers kind of guy, it would be very difficult to put stretchy pants over them and not look like a total moron, so I turned his pants into something that looks more like slacks while keeping the original design intact.

He's my favorite character too, and you drew him amazingly, I love how you put the Earth team logo into his shoulder pads too, that was a nice touch, and the anatomy and details are outstanding as well (:

It wouldn't have had as good as an effect if I had done all that detail and not added a nose.
Besides, I didn't want my mother teasing me again about the fact that the characters hadn't noses in the series.
