But there are two points that I don't really understand. Well, the one that I don't understand is just one, the other is something that I don't like and wish a little explanation:
1) What happened to the Rasengan ready to be launched?
2) WHY IS HINATA STILL NOT DOING ANYTHING?!? COME ON!!! YOU CAN'T SIMPLY KEEP HER THERE WATCHING THE SCENE WITHOUT MOVING A SINGLE MUSCLE!!!

Everything is supposed to happen very fast, Naruto was going to strike but Toneri's attack surprised everyone. He still has his rasengan ready but he's shocked when Toneri stabs Sakura.
This scene wants to be more or less like the original movie when Toneri fires one of his techniques that ends blowing up part of the moon, hurting Naruto in the process while Hinata mostly does nothing.
It's not like Hinata doesn't care, everything moves fast and Toneri caught them off guard.

I understood the first point but about the second... I saw the movie. Completely only one time but then I saw various parts for various reasons (the last time was to check the coloration of some clothes) and it's true that Hinata follows Toneri APPARENTLY because she decided to marry him but when, in the movie, Toneri hits Naruto she reacts and he sends her to sleep. Mostly. Here he's busy (right now) puncturing Sakura after her kick that came after the fake attack of Naruto.
I'm NOT criticizing your work. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm just trying to understand your reasons, that's all.
