Got a mythical ticket and did a poll on what mythical creature I should do and a Kirin was the highest one voted so here he is!
Inspired by the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke

Characteristics:
(Based off of the MLP version and chinese mythology version of a Kirin/Qilin) The middle horn has the ability to levitate objects. When angry or upset, they'll turn into a Nirik, the hair and scales on his body turning into flames in the form of his fit of rage and his horns, eyes, and claws turning pure white. Blind from birth so he's learned to use and hone his other senses to get around.

Personality:
Quiet and well-kept to himself. Extremely clumsy due to his blindness and tends to stumble or trip when he's walking. Has trouble becoming independent due to his insecurities. His insecurities can make him extremely ill-tempered and unstable with the possibility of turning into a Nirik around others.

History:

Lived in Hollow Forest with his family before they left him to become his own independent creature. Unfortunately this was a feat extremely hard to tackle due to him relying on his parents to get around town due to his blindness. Because of this, Maple slowly began to develop various insecurities about himself which led do horrible anxiety, his unstable state soon made him a potential hazard around others due to his ability to turn into a Nirik. Because of this he stays at home most of the time and will usually go out to buy basic needs or due activities late at night when no one is awake.
