Description Method 1: with using Blender 2.46b

When you convert to pmd-format you must copy all bone names for correct work with motions data

ATTENTION: If you have Python Script Error
In general you need open model in XNAlara 11.5 and hight (good version ):
1) Modify->Save generic Item-> select save only visible and hidden unused bones
2) After save re-open saved xps.xps and clicly Modify-> Clean Armature
3) Re-open again and then save mesh.ascii
4) Retry convert with Blender - now must work

If still not converted, try use 3dsmax. Scripts for import XNAlara model and export to PMD (no need change parametres for good porting) sta.sh/222s86xe7lpz?edit=1

This is twisted specular and lightmap - you just need put texture names in PMD
Or sometime you need hide edge line or invert model
Can you give me screenshot?

It's specular replace texture - just copy and paste diffuse (colored) texture name in PMDeditor

Oye tu me podrías ayudar con un par de modelos Xps que tengo, tu les podrías hacerlos Pmx o pmd y colocar los bones de un Tda en ellos porfa es que amo estos modelos y me gustaría animarlos pero no puedo, por esta razón te pido que si puedes mándame una nota donde tengas tu correo y te mando los modelos que me gustaría que pudieras transformar, por favor te lo agradecería mucho te daré créditos y eso o algún modelo que yo tenga... <3<3<3<3<3

You need install Python before that
Python 2/6 from official page
If he say about armature/bone parent lists, Idk - when I see that I convert from traditional non-rigged way

Открыть Ноэзисом, проверить, не рипнулись и кости (что врд ли) - щелкнуть на красный скелет при открытой модельке
Сделать экспорт в удобный формат (obj, если костей нет)

Далее либо в максе, либо в пмд сделать риг

Ну Макса, понятно дело, у меня нет, то есть получается только PMD Editor остаётся. А кости вообще не рипаются.

не беда, первые модели я ригала с нуля (скайрим, масс эффект, алиса), да еще недавно Рейдена из MG
Тогда сохрани в объект (obj), открой вот этой программой и сделай Save as favorite -> Direct X draw mode .x или как-то так

Потом импорт в пмд
Эдитор, ММД и необходимые длл качать здесь (если не понятно, скину) learnmmd.com/downloads/
ПМД импортирует .х файлы, скелет скину

Save it in XNAlara as obj and open in Metasequoia
Or get 3d obj converter and save as .x p3dm.ru/soft/3d-grafika/9242-3…

Damn, my Xnalara 11.8 doesn't have this "Hidden Unused Bones" in the "Save Generic Item..." tab, instead, it has a "remove unused bones" but if I mark "Save only visible..." the options to "remove unused" goes grey. When I try to import the model into Blender it goes with python errors and when I try to export it to mmd it gets "unused bones" error, I hate Blender

If when you open Blender he talk "Python checket.. Not installed python found", you must download and install Python, if no - it wrong mesh or rigging
You also can try export this to .obj in XNAlara and convert with MQO

Or (fastly - if stage in obj, mesh or mesh.ascii) use that: drive.google.com/file/d/0B25vR…
Open programm, clickly Tools-> Flip scene Uvmap verticale, then File-> Save as (favorite) -> select Direct X file .x, now you can load this as acessory in MMD or open in Editor

Yes, just copy and paste bone files in model folder
Then just do import in openned model - bones must be merged (if you rename it)

When you convert with blender some models have reverse diffuses and normal/specular/lightmap_white
It just must be changed in PMD Editor or delete all normal-specular-lightmaps in XNAlara
And sometimes textures have long name in xna, but pmd need short - rename textures in folder and pmd

If you save converted model in another folder, put textures from XNAlara folder into pmd
Or you have another problem?

Ah :c I see.
My models always come out white and I have to change the textures around.
It takes ages. Especially because some don't export as .png, just .tga.
When I import from XPS also hair often disappears off the models. 

I like converting my models to .obj and then rigging them on my own better.
I am bad at rigging though.

Almost all xnalara models need re-put texture names.
In general, almost all conversions from one to other formats need it

Textures may be converted to png in XPS
Just open model, clickly Modify->Save generic.item-> select "copy textures" and "save textures as .png"
I do it for my hairs conversions
