I'm a little confused... How do you know what to look for after step 2 (turn on green vertices)?

I understand that, but I don't know which ones I'm supposed to select. If the hair material is the last one, there is no error; I can't see the head through the hair in PMD Editor. If the hair material is elsewhere, the entire hair looks bad; I can see the head through nearly the entire hair. Can I just send you the hair and head so that you can help me fix this, please? I haven't seen another hair like the one I'm using in MMD or XPS, and I really like it. D:

Ok, I will try to help you.
Hair materials need always place in down edge for correct.
This method used for Sims hair and some hairs have united material for all fragments

Thank you so much! I'll send you a note with a short explanation of what's included in the zip. That united material thing is really annoying in my opinion; making isolating anything a pain.
