...mh don't you think that everybody should be so fair to tell what he or she edited on his or her photo? If I look at my photo now, after the edits, I see that there are so many similiar photos like this one here on dA...and neraly everybody tells you that his or her photo is unedited...sure?

What kind of lens did you take this with? I have the same camera and can't get shots like that.

I completely agree! Soo many people edit their photos and claim to have done nothing, it's basically straight up lieing!
Thanks for sharing this

Superb,
I myself never edit my pictures. But not because I don't appreciate it, I just like to set myself a goal to take a picture and keep it the way it is, so that I can truly tell that I took the picture.
But sometimes edits are just a way to make the picture even more interesting. We live in a technological age, why not take adventages of these technological improvements?
But indeed, if you change something, at least have the gutt to tell people WHAT you changed, like you did. This way it still remains a work of yourself, instead of some lie.
Light altering is good, but you can't base your photography on it.
(And no, this is not some kind of negative critique. I myself have much to learn in photography. I just like to share my ideas about the medium)

...Wow.
This is BEYOND cool and amazing.
The composition is fantastic. It has an amazing feel and tone, and I absolutely LOVE IT.
Even the saturation, even though edited, adds hugely. You still have to have talent to be able to correctly edit a photo, I think...and what you did with the saturation just added to the overall idea.

I think it's more a lucky strike. I actually suck at editing photos...
But thanks, I'm glad you like that one

Awesome photo. I love the wonderful angle, it really emphasizes the energy of New York and helps with the eyeflow.
You're right many do say "unedited" and well we all know the truth. The adjustments you did really brought out the already wonderful characteristics captured in this photo. This would make a lovely poster, sorry I can't afford it right now. Cheers.

Yeah I did already print it on some German services, it looks awesome as poster - I never thought it would do! I'm planning to build a website where interested persons can buy some cheap prints of my works but I need a lot more time - and I got quite less free-time right now.

Wow, awesome. Congratulations on the sale.
I hear you. I took down my site in anticipation of reloading my new site... well that was over a year ago. I need to get my ass in gear, but like you said there is so little free-time.
I'll be looking for a comment in your journal once your site is up, take your time, we'll wait.

I do see a lot of photos like you say. A photo minus the edit like this wouldn't look as nice me thinks. You did a splendid job!

ooooh i thought it was cause of the visible crosshatching of the taxi's window tints, but maybe they just had bad tint jobs Usually you see those on everyone's car when you're wearing polarised sun glasses. Its trippy cause you see rainbows on every tinted glass surface 83
