Hello, dear friends and watchers!
I am sorry for having kept you waiting for so long for my new art, but this one was hard for me to make, and I was rather busy lately.
Anyway, today I have FINALLY finished my new work, and, yes, this one is also related to Nerd Corps's "Slugterra" TV Series.
My art is based on a scene from the very first episode of "Slugterra", called "The world beneath our feet. Part 1"
This is practically the first official meeting of the two out of four main characters, Eli Shane and Trixie Sting. However, as usual I've used two screenshots to create this scene, so you won't find it in the episode. Surprisingly, very few Slugterra fans and fangirls support Eli and Trixie as a promising future pair. 
Everybody seems to pair Eli with their OCs, which drives me absolutely mad, as I really don't understand, WHY? 
No one argues against for example Belle be with Beast or Aurora and Philip, or any other Disney Princess/Prince pair, and no one tries to pair their OCs with them, right? Why would Eli and Trixie make any difference and get so much hate?! In my opinion, they look quite harmonically together, and I do hope, they will develop their friendship into something more in the future. (Slugterra is not over yet, thankfully).By the way, today is 's Birthday!
She is one of those few rare (unfortunately) true Slugterra fans, who, just like myself, seem to support Eli's and Trixie's relationship. Therefore, , Happy Birthday once again, my friend! 
You may consider this my art as a present for you!

Pretty sure Eli x Trixie fans would really love it if Eli were to Trixie what Aerrow (voiced by Eli's VA) was to Piper [Storm Hawks].
Now those two had A LOT of chemistry. Always sharing glances like this ALL the time, hugging, holding hands, there was also this time in which Aerrow held Piper "bridal style" (kinda), and when he gave her a gift. Oh, yeah, not forgetting the times in which his friends were in danger and he'd not move a finger to help, but when it was her, he'd act immediately. LMAO, can't be unseen. (And they were only 14).

I unfortunately haven't seen Storm Hawks, but I've head fans talking about its similarity to Slugterra. Like that Aerrow had been voiced by the same actor, as Eli, and some more.
And as Slugterra isn't finished yet (there is going to be Season 4, according to rumors), I do hope, Eli and Trixie will end up together.
They would make a perfect couple, in my opinion.
I personally hope for a happy ending for these two.

I see, it's because from some comments, I saw people saying Eli is "cold". I haven't watched much of Slugterra, but the few episodes I saw did show he wasn't as compassionate as Aerrow, considering both are leaders of their teams.
Haha, that chemistry is similar to Aerrow and Piper too, then, though they're probably not as close because Aerrow and Piper definitely knew each other much longer, so (the show never shows when those two first meet, so). Besides all those supportive and joking moments, there's also the moments in which Aerrow is jealous too. XD
So, yeah, here's hoping Eli will become a little more like him then, for the fans of the couple. Because, seriously, I'm sure you'd all love having him say something like "If we have to die, then at least we'll die together", like Aerrow did to Piper in the last episode of Storm Hawks. XD

Regarding jealousy, I can't say, there were such moments in Slugterra.
And Eli would have never said anything like that!

LOL, but Aerrow does sacrifice himself for the team and risks his life for them too. Thing is that in the scene he says that, he and Piper are hanging on top of an abyss, about to be blasted off a pipe they're holding onto for dear life by the villains. Piper suddenly lets go of the pipe and starts falling first, so Aerrow lets go as well and grabs her wrist just in time to prevent her from killing herself. And it's then that he says that, because they had no way out, they were going to die no matter what, and he couldn't bear watching her die first, so he'd have them die together.

Yeah, they had come up with some really cool art for the last episodes of that cartoon.
Too bad they ended it on a cliffhanger, introducing a whole new universe and then, poof, the end. :/

Oh, that's sad. Maybe they were hoping to continue it, like it happened with Slugterra?
The TV show also sort of ended on a cliffhanger, but then three movies have come out and a new season is coming up!

Yeah, I guess they were going to continue it, but it was cancelled. It never had movies nor anything. Only 52 episodes. :/

Yes, but you guys got 3 (short) movies, which are the equivalent to 6 episodes, so make that 45 eps, and you'll get another season, so, considering the cartoon has 3 seasons now and each season has 13 eps (kind of speculating here, correct me if I'm wrong), then that'd be 58 episodes. And you have a bigger possibility of getting an actual ending and not being left on a cliffhanger, while SH will be lost in the limbo forever, lol. So yeah, still 2 plus! XD

I both agree and disagree with you.
I agree that Eli and Trixie don't show much emotions to each other in the series.
Moreover, it's Eli, who looks rather "cold" in the series, showing soft emotions only to his slugs.
You've mentioned that I had had to use two screenshots to create this scene to make Eli look "correctly" at Trixie, and you are wrong here.
Furthermore, there is a perfect explanation for the fact that Eli and Trixie don't show mch feelings for each other. They are very young. They are ONLY 15 years old. Eli has to behave as a grown up, as he's lost his dad, he has to be a leader of the team and save the world of Slugterra, he has to make decisions, which gives me extra reason to respect him. He behaves far beyond his age, but it doesn't mean he knows anything about...stuff, which a certain artist (I am sure, you know her too) loves to draw. And this is the exact thing which drives me mad, so much that I obviously can't refrain myself sometimes. I hate characters be twisted, and especially, I... can't handle, to say it softly, arts, where young cartoon characters (Disney or Slugterra ones) are forced to do... "grown up stuff", let's call it that way. I consider it an insult to original movies and their fans.
I've seen a lot of arts, like this, and I have gotten tired from them. If you want your OC go to Slugterra, fine. You can even create your own new gang to protect it, by uniting with other Deviants' OCs. What I don't understand, and what drives me mad the most is why ALL female OCs must be romantically involved with Eli? You want your OC be a new member of the Shane GAng, fine, but why must you foce a romance? Can't you just leave him alone? You can make your OC just be friends with him, right? I am sorry, I will never understand it. I said in another comment, Eli is an ACTION hero, not a lover boy.
The last thing, which I wanted to say is that Slugterra thankfully isn't over yet, as far as I know, and Eli and Trixie have time to develop their relationship or maybe Nerd Corps will come up with something else?

well im glad i got a reply. i know a lot and i do mean a LOT of OC get paired with Eli (and who can blame them lol) anyways i think the point is to these people is that its more of a "what if...." situation. like my Oc Lace for example, she use to involved with eli, but Lace would never commit and leave. she would agree that eli is a hero of slugterra, she is not that kind of person what would be suited in a gang or become a hero of slugterra. so they became great friends instead. when i draw lace with the gang i dont connect it to anyway to the show (kind of like a alternate universe) and if i do fan art based on what happens in the show.... its just them (no ocs )
if i paired my oc with a canon character ( its mainly for entertainment and based on a what if too, still nothing to do with the show).
there a lot of ocs and ive met great new friends through the love of the show but pairing there oc with eli dont make them less of a fan that you and I, we do this for creativity, to show our drawing and to get better along the way and we do get better and we will keep loving this show more and more. i really hope the show dont finish. nerd corps are wonderful people with wonderful shows and the way we can be fans is show our love for the show, being a wonderful community.
thank you for your time and i wont bother you again, your opinion, my opinion and everyone opinion matters. i dont care i just really want everyone to get along. we're quite a small fandom and a tiny community full of talented artists and writters and we all matter to this show.

I think I wouldn't be against "alternative universe" or "what if..." fan arts, as you said, but the problem is, that those artists who draw A LOT of arts with Eli and their OCs together, don't mark it as alternative universe or "what if..." situations. 
To be honest, I am just SCARED by this fact. 
I agree, you can't blame fangirls fall in love with Eli, we all love him (it's hard not to), but why making him a lover-boy and create rather embarrassing arts with him? I am sorry, maybe I am too shy and you will make an argument that those arts aren't thst embarrassing, but I just told you my opinion and fears.

its ok i totally understand, i agree there are quite alot of ocs that are paired with eli but i cant really stop them, they dont stop me from drawing the things that i like and i shouldn't do the same. i want to respect there drawings, its there drawing ability that im more interested in and not what they drawed. you should turn the negative comments into a positive. people should love your ability to draw (i like your drawing) and not what your drawing of. be positive is what i tell them. if people dont like trixie and eli thats fine, its up to them (as i said i dont really see much ships in the show but i dont mind what people like, there choice) you like elixie.... and that dont bother me one bit. i know about who your talking about with the oc and eli that has a group for them.... dont bother me one bit either. were a small fandom and when something goes down, that someone dont like something.... everyone knows so just be careful on what you say.
i think it the part where you said" your not a TRUE fan if you dont ship elixie " that bothered people and got people mad (i admit i was pretty mad too) they dont care that you like elixie and you dont like oc x eli ship... your opinion

I've never said, that those, who don't support Eli and Trixie together were not Slugterra fans. What I said (or rather what I wanted to say) was that those who do support them were true Slugterra fans indeed, without a doubt, as they don't twist the canon characters and don't make them out of character, and it is not the same thing.
It is really not my fault that some people thought, I was talking about them and "abused" them, though in fact I said NOTHING about them and had absolutely no intention to abuse anyone. Just in my opinion, the one really can't be called a TRUE fan, if he or she twists the characters in any way and makes them out of character. 
Besides, I told you, I didn't see much connection between Eli and Trixie in the show too, but that could be done on purpose, so Nerd Corps would have a good reason to make movies or a new season of the series to develop the characters.
And I do hate this "Elixie" word.

I think your restoration looks great as always, and I love what you have done with the shadows on the characters, it really reminds me to an original scene (I know you used two screenshots, but still
I'm afraid I have to disagree a bit with you on the "Elixie" part. I think everybody can to create all the kind pairings they want and still be true fans like you and I. Also, I guess one of the reasons of that pairing unpopularity it the harshness of some of their supporters, that have insulted and bashed horribly some artists, just because they didn't draw/write about their "One True Pairing"
I don't know if Nerdcorps is going to make their relationship go further, but I'm glad to see that, at least by now, they haven't forced a romance just because they're main characters. That breaks a few clichés y'know XD
I have nothing against EliXTrixie, but I wanted to make my point hope you understand and take no offense by it
