Description
I did not make this one.
It's an old picture I like. I have found it about 10 years ago.
I don't know who is the artist, apart from the initials "JC". I've done some research, but have been unsuccessful. If you are the author and want it removed, just ask. If you know something about him/her, please let me know.
There's a nice little movie with the same character & room.
I was inspired by these characters and pose to make a picture of my own fav.me/d3genk5

'JC' was a pioneer of rendered subjects of amputees, years before Poser came along, posting on the old discussion boards. I believe he created all his own models from scratch, though I don't know program he used. In the early days of the internet, when there was very little similar material except on bulletin boards, his work was a revelation. He did surface again a few years back on one of the Yahoo groups but then disappeared again. Oddly enough, this is one of my absolute favourites of his - I love the way she is 'reaching' for the couch with her single limb stump. Very real somehow.
Your pictures are a lovely tribute.

Thanks !
Thanks too for the information. Very interesting.
If he created these models from scratch, it is all the more impressive.
There are other pictures from him I like, but not as much as this one.
"Revelation" is (was) indeed the correct word.
As you may have guessed, there is someone else whose work was a revelation to me, a few years later

Interesting difference of amputations, and the girl looks really beautiful. It's so cool that can give inspiration to works, like yours.

She is indeed beautiful. And the whole scene is very well done. It's amazing given it has been made more than 10 years ago, where the 3D software were much less sophisticated than now.

That's right. It wourld be excellent to see more new characters from you, or another versions of your main character by now.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad you like my work.
I make no promise, but I'm working on new pictures of Gillian (same place, for now), and I am thinking about other characters. But it takes time, and I have other things to do. Please be patient.
