I ADORE this framing you've been doing! I expected fairy wings. Even without the color it has a very earthy feel to it.

Thank you. Always experimenting with new ways to present imagery without diluting it or overpowering the subject. I guess you can't know until you try, right? This was originally in color but it worked in B&W so for now I'm going with it. We'll see...

Came out very well. As did the others you've done this framing on. Always adds to overall effect. The B/W does volumes for this one. I dont know what the color looks like but her skin radiates in this one. Flowless.

The skin was the thing. She's 16 with absolutely flawless skin - no foundation here at all - and somehow in the B&W it made it seem even more porcelain. Sometimes images can go either way and either way they work. This is one of the cases. The colors are dark and luscious and change completely the feeling of the piece.

Very nice texture and I like the look of the transparent outer frame.

Thanks John. This represents a very complex journey in post work to get to where it is. The original working is in color and I like it a lot. But somewhere along the way I decided to add a layer of the image in B&W to tone down the colors and suddenly there was an entirely new image before me. The conversion from color to B&W is a tough one and I don't often like the results. But this time it worked for me. I can't even tell you why, it just did. The flawlessness of Beth's 15 year old skin is brought to its full glory by the B&W.
