Thank you. There is something about David that has a very classical feel. I'm looking forward to doing more work with him at some point.

Thanks Mel. Such surprises that day under the light of the solar eclipse. It was an amazing experience.

Thanks love! It's rapidly becoming one of my quiet favorites as well. That day of shooting under the solar eclipse yielded some fascinating results. And Dave was perfect for it.

Thanks love. I'm thinking I need to get you in water like this - it's an arena you and I haven't explored yet.

OK, I'll talk to you tomorrow and we'll look at a date. I have the most amazing place to work with out there north of the Spiral Jetty. You'll love it - and it's so close to your place!!! In the water you go, ho ho!

Oh boy oh boy! So excited! It is rather close to me now, isn't it?

Yep. Probably only an hour's drive at most. And the road is graded all the way out to the Spiral Jetty now so it's easier than ever to get there. That's both good and bad though as a lot more people drive out there now. But during the weeks there's not a soul around.

That sounds awesome! I can shoot on most Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesdays I have school, and then I go to SLC in the evening.

Gods the water in this and the subtle color and movement. . .I was a huge fan of your 'Saffron' piece but I think this one takes the cake. This is just amazing and beautiful.

Thank you! I just never know where something special is going to surface in my work. You know how you just draw and paint and draw and paint for the pure pleasure of doing so and then one day something emerges and it's like, wow! For me those moments happen when I'm working with someone who completely gives themselves over to the moment and the merging of our creativity makes for magic. Saffron certainly came about that way with Duma being so open and free with his body and so utterly in concert with me that day. I'm glad you liked that piece and I'm glad you're enjoying this one. Sometimes the biggest element in creativity is just getting out there and taking pictures; the magic follows.

I agree completely, and I'm also of the opinion that that's where you make the transition from just painting/photography to making ART and having it be part of a true spiritual experience. We tend to get caught up in the every day and forget to slow down and really stop and see the world, and each other. We are less when we fail to do so.
