Description
Romanticism was a time with fascination for gothic architecture, which led to buildings based on gothic styles. This particular piece is chapel to Saint Hubert, patron of hunters, based on gothic arches, built in pine woods in the hunting grounds between Lednice and Valtice chateaus on Czech Republic-Austria border (that time part of Austrian empire).
Built in mid-19th century by house Liechtenstein who had significant holdings in today's east Czech Republic.
