Keeanu is doing a 47 ronin remake and I hope it doesnt suck. This is a drawing from a production still I saw.

I've seen a few other 47 Ronin films and read a book by John Allyn. Chushingura with Toshiro Mifune and a really old film from the 40s just called the 47 ronin. Its such a great story. I hope some day I can make it over to Japan and visit the burial site.

47 ronin is based on the historical tale. basicly a really greasy passive agressive asshole screws over his fellow lord who kills him in a council meeting and is forced to commit suicide.and so all his men were exiled so
outnumbered they ravage the assholes feifdom
sacrificing themselves for the honor of their master.

Hopefully Keeanu DOESN'tT say " I know Kung-Fu " as that would be culturally insensitive.
