Not to be negative, there's something about the eyes that just aren't quite Marilyn. I was leaning toward Bernadette Peters playing Marilyn.

Ha, thanks for taking the time, nothing negative about expressing your opinion, I appreciate you taking the time. I think when I was finishing this up I ended up copying one of the eyes and mirroring it because I was so tired of the drawing. It might be too symmetrical as well.
It's funny when I draw these some of the likenesses comes in and out. I get it then I lose it, then get it again, then lose it again.

Yeah, I kinda have that issue too. It's how I accidentally draw a person that looks like Kirsten Dunst without meaning to.

Yea likeness is a weird thing. Throughout my gallery I have caricature drawings and even when I give them three foot necks and distorted features I can still make them look recognizable.
It is usually something really minor that can either identify who it is or make it look nothing like them.
