It's not surprising that most people think of him as Snap, even when you are aware of the large body of work he has done.
He was this person for 10 years. How could he have not made such an impression from that role?
--- I only bring it up because someone was bitching about how everyone was acting like Snape died and not Alan Rickman and he was tired of all the Harry Potter themed farewells. Personally I think he should chill. There are a lot of people, like you, who are aware and show the different parts that he played during his life time. ---

Yea, he will always be Hans Gruber to me. Or the Sheriff of Notingham before the Harry Potter guy. I think I was too old for the Harry Potter stuff to do anything to me. Forgot he was in Galaxy Quest. And Ive always been a Kevin Smith fan so that was fun to see him play that angel role and be goofy.

I really like Galaxy Quest, for a number of reasons. I know I saw it before Harry Potter came around, but I don't think I made the connection then.
How old were you? I'm not that young myself, so I see him as different people, but Snap is fighting for the top spot.

It would feel like I'm watching a very odd part of an ep of Star Trek. Instead of Data, it would Commander Riker putting them together.
Or can you think of someone else who would do that? And not just from Enterprise.
