This is just about photorealistic!!! Love the soft edges and sharper focus to the inside. Well done! Thanks for using my stock!

Hey, thanks very much. I start 99% of my work as a pencil drawing that I scan into photoshop and dink around with. Adding tone, color and messing with focal depth to varying degrees. Here is a good example of what the pencils kind of look like. tomasoverbai.deviantart.com/ar…
Spooky face had more value than the morrigan drawing but you can kind of see how much is pencil.

Yes you should try digital stuff. It has allowed people to create art without fear. I sometimes worry while working on a traditional piece that I am gonna fuck it up. But with digital I can do ANYTHING, let me repeat that last word ANYTHING and still hit a key like it never happened. It allows you to experiment where you couldnt before with paint or pencils. I also use a single HB pencil for all my drawings and good deep blacks wont happen with an HB pencil lead so usually I adjust the levels and use the burn tool to darken some of the pencils to where they should be. My pencils tend to be a middle low contrast image that I pump up digitally.
While I will always love my traditional work and their can be a weird synthetic disconnect that you lose using plastic pen against plastic tablet but I run every piece I post here, facebook, or my website to adjust levels and stuff. I have a raw image in my gallery or two but they are few and far between.
Give it a try.
