Description
This is part of the story of darkness as a liberation. I was inspired by the image of ink falling in water, and how that could interact with the body. A large painting I recently finished for a collective exhibition. Probably my favorite painting yet. I recommend Flesh and Bone - The Killers, for the full feeling.---------------------------Edit: So I go to sleep after posting "Stampede", wake up and have 700+ messages in my mailbox (Surreal for me) and I discover I have a Daily Deviation! The way the ink was painting is just too great!

Shadows like ink! I like your thinking! Very subtle and after a while becoming one with the environment! And barely now I saw the bottom darkness that has almost taken an recognisable shape and the man's shade that became a shadow, mimicking theΒ dark side of his soul, making it visible! There are so many things to discuss about this painting and I don't think I've got the time and space to describe them here, but the man-time-darkness relationship is one of my favourite themes.
Also, forgetting to tell you, you are an amazing artist and a great visionary. Thank you for this wonderful piece of art.Β

This picture looks so cool! I love how the black ink just runs off him. To me it looks like the black represents ark was and is trying to consume the guy. Seriously though this is awesome! π
