This is my entry for Round 1 of 's 'Dark Contest.'

After going through a few possibilities of who to evolve, I decided on going with Arcanine. Seeing as how the Pokemon was referred to as the Legendary Pokemon, and the Yellow Version Pokedex entry lists it as a legend in China, I took it a step above and made it evolve into a Guardian Lion Statue, or Foo Dog. You know, those ones you see outside the palaces. So here's Terieonfu

Arcanine evolves into Terieonfu by reaching Level 65, while holding the Dark Gene.

After evolving from Arcanine with the Dark Gene, this Pokemon spews black flames from its majestic mouth. Where this Pokemon walks, the ground burns black, resulting in its black paws. Much faster than Arcanine, Chinese legend stated that if a person were to touch a wild Terieonfu's tail, they would be granted a utopian life. Emperors used to wear Terieonfu-fang necklaces in hopes they would grant immortality.
