Six down, four senshi to go! Next up is Sailor Mercury, aka 'I-need-more-blue-Copics.' I specifically drew her with her eyes closed because hey... I think we can all guess what her eye color is. And then I added her visor because it's awesome.Micron pen and Copic marker. Post-editing in Photoshop 7.0.

I've used markers for a long time and was really excited when I found out I could buy them locally. What's all the hype? I like the brush tip but I always seem to end up with this weird grainy texture in my images when I apply Copic. Anything like that happen to you?

It may be the paper you're using, different papers absorb the ink differently. Do you use other media with Copics, like colored pencils? I know my pictures always look a little grainy when I scan them in to the computer, I even it out by duplicating the layer, adding a Gaussian Blur filter, and setting the layer to Soft Light.

Lucky for me I'm doing mostly digi for color anymore. You are probably right about the paper.
