Wee-hee! Actual established backgrounds!
Unfortunately, my computer does not like such detail. 
Damn machine. Tomecko's fingers hurt now. I just spent pretty much all day coloring this.Anyways, this is Kagome, and, as the title says, she is thinking of... who else?!
The same guy she's always moping about. I wanted to do some Kagome fanart, for whatever reason.And yeah, so I got some architectural details of her room wrong, but I don't care... We're gonna pretend like her bed is under the window, okay?

Wow that is really good...you musta spent a long time on the background! I really like your color scheme...and the contrast of shades and base colors. Makes it look like real anime. I think what stands out the most is the position she's in...i don't think i could ever draw that O.o;;

Background took me about 3.5 hours... longer than actually coloring Kagome.

That is a long time! But it was well spent my friend. My CG (not sure if you remember the Accessorize w/ GK one) but that one took like 4 hrs to color...clothes, hair, skin, accessories, and logos. One sitting...my Yuna wallpaper took like 10-15 maybe more hours...cuz i did like ...1 base color 2 tints and 2 shades for hair, clothes, skin...and i blurred it too...so yeah i'm slow ;.;

Oh wow... 15 hours... I could never do that! It used to take me about as long to do each pic (spread out over 2-3 days), but then I started a new technique: Using a brush to adjust brightness & contrast on each area of color. Gives a very good cel-style effect, and is much faster.
