Have to say it: I'm getting a big Halo vibe from rifle number 1. It looks like some of the aesthetics have a lot in common with the M395 DMR, especially with the thumbhole stock. Curiously, it seems to resemble more of the concept art than the finished product, especially with the traditional magazine layout rather than the bullpup in the final product.
I like a lot of these designs too. The simple design of number 2 is very carbine in its appearance, but that doesn't hurt it at all. It's straightforward compared to some of the others, but that's not to say they're bad of course.
Number 5 brings to mind the Lancer from Gears of War, with its smooth barrel shroud, and the simple stock, though granted the Lancer had no real stock to speak of.
Number 4 seemed the most alien to me. I kind of felt odd looking at it. Something inside of me says that the gun may not be as stable as some of its brothers here.
These are really cool. I like the colors and the design aesthetics of the weapons. Seems like something some rag tag group of rebels would use.

interesing to see that some of them have a much more of a eastern, russian somewhat, orientaion.
Also, considering the haft, the angle of the handle in the first and last one seems awefully uncomfortable.
Anyway, they all look awesome, I'd really like to give the third and forth one a try!

Number one for me - it just has a classic assault rifle look, without looking too much like any current rifle.
