Overall your attempt at doing this in your new style should be applauded, the lack of shadows I believe has made this considerably better. The only spot where I think where shadow could have improved it is the human arm.
The fur detailing is impressive particularly on the tail and arm, I suggest pitting a tiny bit on the human arm too to show how the fur is forming along him
the head is pretty good, the ear change is nice, its small but seems to be getting pointier like in a tf whereas a lot of the time its common to see one complete and one not. The proportions on the head are excellent, the eyes and muzzle look about the right size and the expression is spot on, doesn't look weird or goofy at all.
my only suggestions are add an extra toe and shrink the size of the middle one on each foot, the left foot looks nearly twice as big which is a bit strange

just a little thing I noticed, small but something. so he has three toes instead of four, which is weird anatomically for a dog or fox. maybe the next time you could add one extra digit when going for something that is like a dog
