(I apologize in advance if my story telling sucks or doesn't make much sense, I'm not very good at it, but trying to setup the scene. Also sorry for poor grammar skills.)

Sonny finally gets the courage to ask Michelle for her hand in marriage and propose to her.

Just another normal night of dating except this one was special because it was Valentine's Day and they were eating at Michelle's favorite place to dine, plus Sonny had something life changing planned. Michelle had wondered why Sonny was dressed up in his normal clothes when he picked her up on such a special occasion, but he just told her that he had made special plans that required him to dress down for it. Michelle didn't think much more of it, but asked if she should do that same, but Sonny told her she was beautifully dressed and not to change, it was just required for him.

Sonny - "Remember when I told you I first saw you feeding that homeless canine family a meal on Thanksgiving? That I knew there was something special about that kitty and wanted a chance to meet her, to chat maybe over a lunch or dinner, if she'd let me. But then for a brief few months, I couldn't locate you?"

Michelle - "Why yes, I remember that family. It was just the right thing to do, nobody should go hungry like that. Didn't realize I was being watched from afar at that time or that you was trying to find me afterward."

Sonny - "And then I told you that I'd finally found out the place you liked to dine, here. So I dropped by a few days & times during lunch hour and I sat over in this very spot, until one day you came by to dine, all alone, which just happened to be on Valentine's Day?"

Michelle - "Yea, I was feeling down that day, but I'd had a lot of things going on in my life and all my previous dates just ended up going nowhere, so I was feeling depressed on the day of love."

Sonny - "Then sending you that special valentine cake to cheer up that sad kitty I saw, remaining anonymous of course."

Michelle - "I was definitely caught off guard and surprised someone had sent me a cake to try and cheer me up."

Sonny - "Yes and that I'd sneaked out right as the waiter was dropping it off at your table, cause I didn't want to spoil the surprise of the mystery person."

Michelle - "I looked around, but didn't see anyone I thought would of done it. As I slowly ate it and wondered who would have done such a nice thing and it did take my mind off of things."

Sonny - "Later on, I saw you standing out in the pouring rain at a bus stop. So I walked up and handed you an umbrella & a note for you to call me later? That I was quite shy and couldn't just ask in person."

Michelle - "Why yes. It was my first time seeing you and was quite cautious, but thankful of some strange canine offering me his umbrella, although passing me a note had me uneasy. Then as quickly as you approached me, you then walked off and I even felt sorry for you afterward as you walked away, getting drenched in that downpour in those..... hmmm... same clothes you're wearing tonight actually. I can see they didn't shrink on you, it must of took forever to dry those out, haha."

They both chuckle for a moment.

Sonny - "And how I was hoping you'd call me back and give me a chance and you did. One date lead to another, then another, and another. Our friendship grew and we fell in love."

Michelle - "What's with this sudden trip down memory lane? But yeah, I wasn't quite sure if I'd call you at first, that was a tough decision, being I'm feline and you're canine. But being curious as a cat and wondering why would you be interested in me, I figured one date wouldn't hurt, but I did remain cautious on our first date and you were such a gentleman. I too found myself falling in love over time and..." *blinks* "Um Sonny, what are you....." *!*

Sonny gets down on one knee, "You gave me that chance, we've been dating for awhile now, our love continues to grow stronger and you've become my best friend. Every waking moment you're on my mind and I've decided that I want to spend my life with you. You mean more than anything to me and I'm a much better person because of it. I can't see my life going on without you and I love who you are and want to be a part of your life forever. *takes a deep breath* Michelle Purrs... will you marry me?"

She doesn't have to think about her answer as she blurts out an overjoyed & happy "YES"!

Despite my poor story & grammar skills, I hope you at least enjoyed the picture!
