I was just as surprised to see another dragon at the School of Friendship when I first saw this scene. I bet Smolder assumed another dragon from the dragon lands secretly followed her and Ember there.

Yeah, my first reaction when I saw scene was, 'who is that?'. But then Thorax called out to Ocellus and I was like, "oh a changeling".
Yeah, Smolder giving her that eye, I'm sure Smolder's thoughts were, 'I've never seen you before? Who are you?'
