Incorporating the photos as backgrounds do double duty establishing the "feel" of the inner city and gives a unique graphic design feel to the whole page. Well done. The actual figure drawing on the bottom page does need work. He's "over-acting" a bit, and I'm not convinced he's African American.

That's a mighty fine page, man! Cool use of shades of blue. And you have a good eye for detail. Your backgrounds look great.
