Continuing on with a mini series I’m calling Raptors in Captivity (clever girl...) I present what is objectively the mightiest and bestest species of eagle in the Northern Hemisphere: the golden eagle! I don’t really have a tale to go with this one to be honest though. Ah well. Someday I’d like to see one of these in the wild, and hopefully get a photo to share too.Taken at the Welsh Hawking Centre, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales in April 2016.
