Here's 11 facts about the Prototype animatronics you didn't know.

11: The whole concept of the Prototype animatronics is inspired by the Prototype Tubbybots from 5 Nights at Tubbyland 3: The End Game. In fact, they were the starting ground for the inspiration to the factory.

10: The prototype endoskeletons are a combination of tha FNAF 1, 2, and 3 endoskeletons in terms of design. They're light brown because they're caked with rust.

9: The cloth-like design for their outer covers were inspired by 2 things: The Drawkill Animatronics, and RAT from 5 Nights at Candy's.

8: Here's the layerings for the Prototypes. As you can see, they're very complex. Feel free to use this as reference for any fan-art.

7: Prototype Foxy was responsible for the Prototypes being sealed away. He attacked one of the engineers at Fazbear's Factory.

6rototype Freddy doesn't have a microphone. Instead, he has a cane. This was inspired by Torture Lockjaw, from TRTF5

5: Prototype Freddy's real name is Freddybear. This is because he's actually Fredbear's little brother. In fact, Freddy Fazbear's would've initially been called "Freddybear's Funland."

4: The Prototypes were designed fairly differently from the other animatronics:

As mentioned before, they have stitch lines. They don't use squishy casings or plastic shells, but rather the same kind of cloth stuff that real life animatronics use.

They're slightly taller have no shoulder panels or knee caps.

Lastly, their eyes are smaller and their eye sockets expose their eyelids completely.

3: If the Prototypes had personalities, they would be the following:

Prototype Freddy would be heavily depressed, since he never got to perform and was left to rot away in the underground storage basement.

Prototype Bonnie would be an overly aggressive rageaholic for the very same reasons, kinda like The Guard, another one of my FCs.

Prototype Chica would be a cold, calculating, emotionless being. The only thing she values other than her self is the other prototypes.

Prototype Foxy would be a maniacal psychopath. He'd be nuttier then squirrel shit. I mean, look at his slasher face!

2: The Prototypes wouldn't have worked at a pizzeria. Freddybear's Funland would've been a play-place attraction. The animatronics would move around from place to place, entertaining children. Knowing this could endanger the animatronics, the Prototypes had the self-defens programs installed...

...needless to say, it didn't work out all too well.

1: An lastly, each Prototype had their own inspiration in terms of design:

Prototype Freddy was inspired by a 40 year old stuffed bear my dad gave me called "Brown Bear". The facial design and slightly darker coloration (in the unwithered Prototype Freddy) are based off the home-made stuffed bear.

Prototype Bonnie was based off of a real-life version of Bonnie made by YouTube user DrCreepyPasta. The head of his Bonnie model annoyed me, because it barely resembled the original Bonnie, whilst everything else was fine. This would later be the basis for Prototype Bonnie's narrow head design. His thin ears were based on both that of a real pair of bunny ears, and are also based off the ears of my earlier Bonnie sprite models, which (innaccurately) used thinner ears.

Prototype Chica's design gal was to be as ugly as possible. (I wouldn't mind R34 art nonetheless, just make sure you do a good job ) I wanted hear to also resemble a real-life chicken, but ended up making her look somewhat like an owl. Hoot.

Prototype Foxy was also designed to be as ugly as possible, and look like a real fox. One of the main differences is that he doesn't have any "fluffs" on the sides of his head and his jaw is much larger.
