Description
Long ago, mankind had acted in very foolish ways, nearly wiping themselves out. Their endless wars and strife brought nothing, but further ruin. The few humans that survived were reduced to scavenging hunter/gatherers. However, they never forgot the wonders of their technology, and wished for it to have something like it again. As if God himself was answering their wish, one day a strange meteor landed on the planet and emerging was a strange metallic liquid. It responded to their wishes and formed their technology…albeit it was in a stone-like state. However, the humans used this ooze to obtain some kind of civilization, even it was something you’d see out of a caveman cartoon. Regardless, this wonderful material was called Shift Stone…and unfortunately, it would ignite yet another conflict.***********************************************************************
“Myrarr…” went Nar-Nar, a large saber tooth tiger that slept alongside the body of his master, Ishiro. Ishiro was a young man in his twenties with wild stuck-up, spiky light blue hair that reached down to his waist. He wore a sleeveless and legless silvery wolf skin with some feathers on the small part of the shoulder area. The skin allowed the one to see that Ishiro had somewhat a built under his outfit. The two slept soundly together, until a stone alarm clock began ringing with a large petrodacyl squawking.
“Huh…” yawned Ishiro, as he and Nar-Nar rose from their sleep. “Well, another day, another hunt, eh, Nar-Nar?”
“Rar!” went the saber tooth tiger, showing a loyalty and closeness to his master that would put a dog to shame. Ishiro petted his large hunting companion and the two dashed down the hall.
“WOO-HOO! HERE I COME!!!” shouted Ishiro, leaping out a window and onto the rooftop of a next stone building. Ishiro and Nar-Nar lived in Rain Valley City, a grand city of stone, canyon-like buildings, that the humans of long ago built with the magical stone material. Ishiro and Nar-Nar leaped across the rooftops with relative ease.
“And another attempt at breaking Rain Valley’s barrier was made by the Sky Tribe yesterday. However, they could not pierce the barrier even with their powers and retreated out of exhaustion,” said an anchorman on a TV made out of rock, as an elderly couple watched. Suddenly, Ishiro landed between them, stunning them out of shock.
“Sorry!” shouted Ishiro, he and Nar-Nar running by.
“Myrar!” roared Nar-Nar.
“EVERYDAY THAT KID COMES BY OUR HOUSE THE SAME WAY!!!” shouted the old man.
“You think we’d be used to it now,” said the old woman with a sweat drop.
************************************************************************
“Today, I want you all to double your efforts on catching food for the village. With the recent drought, our crops have been limited and our hunts unsuccessful,” said Sungo, the chief mayor of Rain Valley City.
“Not to mention the Sky Tribe has been attacking our hunting parties. They won’t stop until they have our city conquered,” said an aged hunter, holding a spear over his shoulders.
“Well, let’s get hunting!” shouted a skinny lanky hunter, before he noticed something. “Hey…aren’t we missing someone?”
“Considering there’s no broken walls or ceiling, that must mean Ishiro hasn’t…” began a short, stocky hunter, before…
WHAM!!!
Ishiro grinned as he stood under the hole he had came through in the ceiling. Nar-Nar was next to him, ready to join his master in a hunt.
Ishiro walked up to his fellow huntsmen and said, “Hi boys! Ready to bring home some food?”
“ISHIRO!!!” shouted the aged hunter.
“Do you have to enter through something like a crazy person?!!! That’s a thing called a door!!!” shouted the skinny hunter.
“You know how much Shift Stone we need to gather daily because of your little regiment?!!!” shouted the short hunter, “Why do we even take this guy with us?!!!”
“Because Ishiro brings home the most food,”
All eyes turned to see a tanned and quite fat young woman with long dark hair, wearing a shell comb in her hair. She wore a black shiny skin and skirt with white stripes along her well-fed body. Being as she was the Chief Mayor’s granddaughter, she was entitled to first dibs on food and had the body that brought attraction to all the men of the city.
“Meila!” shouted the hunters, except for Ishiro, all hearts in their eyes for the big beauty.
Meila rolled her eyes and said, “We’d probably all dead if Ishiro didn’t bring his huge-sized catches,”
“Ah, you flatter me, Meila!” smiled Ishiro, rubbing the underneath of his nose in embarrassment. “I promise I’ll bring you an extra big catch tonight!”
“Um…thank you,” blushed Meila to herself.
“You’re welcome! You welcome her too, Nar-Nar!” smiled Ishiro, holding Nar-Nar up to Meila. Nar-Nar then licked her face with his rough, sand-paper tongue.
Meila did not like the feel, and growled, “Ishiro…”
POW!!!
“WAHHHHH!!!” shouted Ishiro, going flying from Meila’s fist and straight through the wall. He laid there, eyes spinning from the powerful punch.
A young boy of sixteen with mid-length brownish-red hair sighed, “It appears Meila’s the only one who can actually hurt Ishiro…”

Meanwhile, on the high mountain cliffs of Nestia…
“HOO!! What do you mean you failed to break the wall?” squawked Renlot, the cloth-clad humanoid owl chewing out the birdmen who attacked Rain Valley City’s barrier the other day.
“That barrier is too thick and strong! I don’t think even your magic could break it, Renlot, sir, chirp-chirp!” shouted a blue jay man. They were of the Sky Tribe, the descendants of birds changed so long ago. They were built like humans, except they were shorter and more stockier. Their wings had moved to their backs, and they wore more supplicated clothing than the humans on the ground.
“Hey, someone’s got to take the fall! The king is named Zalus the Terrible! THE TERRIBLE, HOO!!!!!! You don’t get that title by being very nice!!!” shouted Renlot, “If I don’t put the blame on you, he’ll pluck me, tar, and re-feather me, HOO!”
“Calm down, sir, chirp-chirp. There’s still the device you set up in the mountains above Rain Valley City,” said the blue jay.
Renlot flapped over to his perch seat and said, “Hoo, that’s a relief,” His beak then showed a smirk as he said, “In a matter of a few days, those humans will have no food or water! They’ll have to leave! And King Zalus will reward me, hoo! Nothing can go wrong!”
“Uh, sir…(Peck-peck)…we have word that a pair of human hunters are near the device,” said a woodpecker man, pecking the wall every few seconds.
“…Except for that, hoo!” shouted Renlot, his body puffing up from his feathers ruffling up out of fear. “I’ll handle this, myself! You guys face the king, hoo!”
“Wait, we’ll help you, sir, chirp-chirp!” shouted the blue jay man, as they flew after Renlot; it was better than facing their terrifying king.

Later…
“Wow, you certainly caught something,” said the brownish red-haired boy, looking to Ishiro, who was holding a giant fish over his head after he came out of the water.
“Hey, he tried to eat me first. I just was too much for him,” said Ishiro, tossing the fish onto their catch cart. There were the bodies of several boars, deer, and other various game the two caught. “I think we have room for one more big score, guys!” smiled Ishiro to the boy.
“Myrarr!” shouted Nar-Nar in agreement.
The boy then said, “Ishiro…maybe we should get back. I heard several Sky Tribesmen were seen in this area,”
“Don’t worry, Gonkei. Those birdies don’t like it on the ground for long periods,” said Ishiro to the boy, as Ishiro easily scaled up a tree and looked around.
Gonkei looked up and shouted, “I do have reason to worry! Not everyone is a freak of nature like you!”
“Me? A freak?” blinked the naïve Ishiro, as he landed down…and onto the back of a sleeping giant lizard.
The lizard’s eyes thrust open, and he roared, snapping his jaws at Ishiro. However, they were held in place easily by Ishiro’s great strength and he threw it onto its back. Ishiro then grabbed the lizard’s tail and started swinging it around, until the tail snapped off and the lizard went flying deep into the distance.
“Eh, no problem! These things have delicious tails!” grinned Ishiro, tossing the severed tail onto the cart.
Gonkei sighed, saying, “I don’t know how I put up with you,” He took a step, before suddenly the ground under him collapsed! “WAHHHHHHHH!!!” shouted Gonkei as he slid down a long tunnel. Gonkei could feel cold air being sucked down the tunnel as he made his sliding fall. He eventually hit some kind of grate and was dumped out of the tube. Gonkei then groaned, “Ow…” as he rubbed his sore rear from the impact.
“Gonkei! Are you alright?!” shouted Ishiro, he and Nar-Nar looking down the hole.
“Yeah…just a little sore,” said Gonkei, as he stood up. He then found himself facing some kind of machine, sucking cold air from all directions. “What the?”
“HOO!!!”
Gonkei gulped and ducked behind a rock, before peeking out to see an owl-man and several various birdmen in soldier attire walking from a side tunnel.
“The Cold Air Extractor is still safe,” sighed the owl-man, “I’m safe, hoo,”
“Cold Air Extractor?” thought Gonkei.
The owl then laughed, “Give it a few days, and those savage humans will leave that city for an area for more rainfall! This machine is sucking out all the cold air, keeping it from mixing the warm air to become rain. No rain, no crops, hoo! No rain, no animals to drink from watering holes, no meat on the human’s tables! They’ll be out of food and water in no time, hoo!”
“That’s why we didn’t have any rainfall for a long time!” thought Gonkei, “I have to sneak out and tell everyone! They don’t seem to notice me, so I should be able to…”
“I’M COMING DOWN, GONKEI!!!”
“Ishiro, no!!!” thought Gonkei, the yell attracting the attention of the Sky Tribesmen.
“What was that, hoo?” asked Renlot.
“WEEEEEE!!! What a ride!” shouted Ishiro, sliding down the carved tunnel and into the machine. Unlike Gonkei, his impact was much harder and he slammed through the grate, going straight into the machine. “Hey! Where the heck am I?”
“There’s someone inside, hoo!!!!” shouted Renlot, his feathers ruffling up.
“There’s no way out…guess I’m making one!” shouted Ishiro from inside, shortly before a fist came straight through a side of the machine. Another came out, the opposite hand, before both began tearing open a hole as if the machine was made of paper. “Man, its cold in there,” shivered Ishiro, coming out.
Renlot pointed at Ishiro, stunned, as he said, “Hoo…how did you break out?!!! That material can’t pierced by a force less than one of our mind blasts, and even then we need at least five conjoined waves!”
“Huh? You mean that thing was supposed to be hard?” blinked Ishiro, causing everyone to face fault.
“He ruined our machine and our way to rid of the humans in the city! GET HIM, HOOO!!!” ordered Renlot.
“Right away, sir, chirp-chirp!” shouted the blue jay man, charging with a spear at Ishiro. However, Ishiro’s fist came into his face and he went into the wall, leaving an imprint after bouncing off. A pair of robin men tried sneaking up on Ishiro, but he caught them both and tossed them aside easily. They too left imprints on the wall. The rest of the bird men all dog piled onto Ishiro, but they were thrown off by the human’s far superior strength. “RETREAT, CHIRP-CHIRP!!!” shouted the blue jay, his beak misshapen as he and the other birdmen, aside from Renlot, flew away through the tunnels.
“You may want to join your friends…before I get mad,” said Ishiro, punching his palm with his fist.
“Gulp…you’re just a stupid human! How can you be this strong, hoo?” asked Renlot, backing away until he tripped on a rock and onto Gonkei.
“Gonkei!” shouted Ishiro, seeing his friend there.
Renlot put two and two together and grabbed Gonkei in a headlock.
“This is your friend, eh?” asked Renlot, before putting his palm near Gonkei’s head. He focused his mental energy into his palm, forming a sphere of energy ready to be shot. “Laid down your arms and…”
“Huh? I don’t have any weapons,” blinked Ishiro.
Renlot sweat dropped, and said, “Whatever! Just surrender or I’ll blast your friend’s head off, HOO!”
Ishiro growled, but then saw Renlot was standing with his back to the tunnel he and Gonkei had emerged from. It was clear since Ishiro had destroyed the machine.
“Hey Nar-Nar! Come down here, boy!” shouted Ishiro.
“Hoo?” blinked Renlot, before hearing an echoing roar behind him. He turned just in time to be slammed by a large saber tooth tiger, releasing his grip on Gonkei.
“Wow…that was scary…thanks Ishiro,” panted Gonkei.
Ishiro then responded, “You’re my friend. It was nothing,” He then grimaced at Renlot as he approached the owl, pinned down by Nar-Nar. “I’ll handle this, Nar-Nar,” said Ishiro, before Nar-Nar leaped off and Ishiro lifted Renlot by the collar. “Nobody threatens my friends! NOBODY!!!”
“Hoo…not in the face…” whimpered Renlot.
POW!!!
“HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” shouted Renlot, as he went flying upward, the earth above him being torn open from being punched by Ishiro’s mega-ton fist. A hole opened up in the surface as Renlot passed through and deep into the sky until he could no longer be seen.
Ishiro dusted off his hands, as he said, “There. That evens things out,”
Gonkei looked at Ishiro, as he said, “He’s strong, but stupid…I wouldn’t have him any other way!” With that, he smiled, before something hit him. “Uh, Ishiro…how are we going to get out of here?”
“Leave that to me,” smiled Ishiro, picking up Gonkei and Nar-Nar. He leaped up against the wall above in the small upward tunnel he had made. Ishiro leaped against the wall and onto the wall behind it. He wall-jumped back and forth until they were back on the surface. “See? Everything works out fine!” smiled Ishiro, as he put Gonkei and Nar-Nar down.
“Ishiro, you’re always so confident and happy,” said Gonkei, “Why is that?”
“Simple. If you’re too worried about how you die, you won’t be able to enjoy life!” grinned Ishiro, “Everything will work out if you look at life positively!”
“Wow…I guess he’s not so stupid after all…” thought Gonkei, before a trickle of water hit him on the head. The two men and tiger looked up to see dark clouds gathering above. “Hey! Since you destroyed that machine, the rains are returning!”
“See? Like I said…” smiled Ishiro.
************************************************************************
A little later at Nestia…
“I understand I failed, your majesty…” began Renlot, now in a full body cast, “But that was because we never knew about this one human!” He was being supported by two bird girl nurses holding up his gurney.
“Hmm…” went the gigantic and shadowy King Zalus, his marvelous and majestic wings folded behind his back.
“The pain I have is punishment enough, hoo! I promise you, I will make that human pay and get rid of all those vile monkeys in Rain Valley City! I promise, hoo!” shouted Renlot.
“Very well…but you will be punished if you fail again,” said Zalus, his grand voice sending chills down Renlot’s spine.
“I…I…I understand, hoo…” gulped Renlot.

Meanwhile at Rain Valley City…
“So the Sky Tribe is why we didn’t have water for a while,” said Meila, as she, Ishiro, Nar-Nar, and Gonkei sat under a skin tarp as it continued to rain.
“Yeah, but I smashed their machine!” smiled Ishiro.
“Hopefully now that will make the other hunters think you’re more than just destruction with legs,” said Meila.
“Fat chance,” said Gonkei.
“Eh, can’t be as fat as Meila,” said Ishiro.
POW!!!
“WAHHHHHH!!!” shouted Ishiro, punched through several walls. He laid there, eyes spinning as he was covered in debris.
Gonkei looked at the damage caused, and said, “Like I said…”
