They love watching people get upset, then floating out of reach because hey, if you can mysteriously hover off the ground for no good reason, you'd do the same thing. The only time they're not playing tricks on someone else is when they're going after each other. And given that neither gives off any lumens on any Christmas tree, they tend to fall for their own traps just as often as they successfully catch someone else. The Ringleader is the only person who has ever given them a healthy outlet for their mischief. Why beat each other up for free when there are thousands of witless rubes who will pay to watch you do it?
