Description At the Washington State History Museum, there is a large HO scale layout depicting the railroad scene in and around Tacoma, WA during the 1950s. As a Northern Pacific passenger train decked out in Lowey styled 2-tone green rolls by on a water-level line, a Milwaukee Road GG1 electric... Wait, wait... WHAT?!?!?
The GG1 was a Pennsylvania RR loco. The only thing close on the MILW was the EF4/EP4 "Little Joe" electric. And the Little Joes never ran more than a few test runs on the Coast Division.
Yeah. International Hobby Corp decided to play fast and loose with the facts and give the MILW the scale electric they deserved. By repainting a GG1. Cheap, but effective, as long as you don't mind a little bit of inaccuracy....
AS I was saying before that interruption... ...A MILW electric has just pulled into the station with the Olympian Hiawatha.
