I love this. The incredible amount of detail in the mechanics of the trunk and the branches, the gloomy and shadowy feel of the background, the windblown shape of the tree... the entire thing is very intricate and very fun to look at, just noticing all the small things you wouldn't ever see with just a glance. Excellent work.

The whole thing is gorgeous. The veining of the tree limbs is exquisite. The background sublime. It's a tree but so much more. Great emotion. The longer I look at it the more I see and feel. You have great technique. Only suggestion is maybe cropping the right edge closer to the tree or even have it going off the page a little. Like it's exploding into frame. Very beautiful and evocative. Can't wait to see more.

It reminds me alot of this book; Incarceron. It's this huge prison in a completely different dimension with vast mechanical forests inside it... I sorta imagined the trees to look like this. Really beautiful work, this is something that could create huge ideas and concepts. ^^
