Description
Natalia's reportFinally.. this is it. I'm here.. Temple of The Divines. The ones those nomads are looking for. The gods have pretty much made the surrounding forest impossible to navigate. I felt like i have wandered for a month now in there. My provision dwindle. My energy brought me down to a crawl. Here i thought.. oh hey, this is pretty much the end of Natalia's report, so sad that i have to die in this pathetic manner of being trapped in this maze of a forest. I swear i blacked out only to be carried by the river to this place..
The temple was built by The Ancient Divines, those who are blessed with the knowledge of universal proportion. The temple would look normal from the outside but those who have ventured in would either find eternal damnation or salvation depending on the purpose of the trip. It seems like they have a knack for tricks and watching mortal suffer. But i am sure if i step in there i won't be able to get out.. not sure if i would risk it. I decide to rest by the fountain and drank some of the water.. it was rejuvenating, gave me back my energy to go on.. but other than that i don't think i felt different... The temple just begs to be explored and that symbol too... maybe i'll know the truth and getting closer to it.
It's true what they say... the fountain is everflowing but will never overflow. Such is the design of The Divines.

Hey there
I hope you enjoy the painting along with the story that goes along with it.
This might be a direct continuation of the painting "Quiet Dawn Comes Early" where Natalia discovered the temple in a more pragmatic manner, nearly starving herself to death getting lost in the confusing forest for almost a month. I was testing and playing around with composition to see if it works or not and so far i'm liking it. I don't paint statue often too so might aswell give it a shot and experiment with it whenever i have the chance. Though overall i hope you enjoy this one as much as i enjoy painting it!
Thank you for reading!
