'I still kept thinking about the memories i have, this constant dreams i had whenever i see droplets of rain falling onto me. Flashing lights passing by the night sky as the endless rain soaks everything down below. Bustling city.. busy with life. I hear voices, footsteps and distant chatters but for whatever reason, in my dreams i can't see them nor remember what they all look like. Memories hazy and vague as a fog enveloping coherent thoughts. I remember... not long after that night, it happened. And then i woke up.'=

I hope you enjoy the painting and the flavor story that goes along with it. It's been awhile since i draw another city night scenes, i always want to see how much i can go with drawing city scene and hopefully i can see some improvements for myself, i am sorry if this is unlike my previous paintings where everything is calming and relaxing. Sometimes i just want to experiment and also study and i hope you folks don't mind that
Anyways i would love to hear your thoughts or maybe interpretation even!

This vision (or dream) reminds me of the movie Blade Runner.
But the story Dr. Rabbit is recounting here totally got me interested.
A brief glimpse of whatever lead him to wander a world seemingly devoid of life...
Gosh, the mystery brings so many questions to my mind.

There's a strange kind of loneliness in cities. There's tons of people around, but you can still be so utterly alone - and I think you've captured that feeling here. This is such a beautifully done painting, I love the lighting and rain~!

It seems to me that you have a preference in creating drawings with either a quite grim/dark or a really warm/delightful atmosphere. But either way they never fail to astonish me.

It's either one of those two, though rather than too grim or too dark it's mostly just melancholic in nature
