yay! the gold ranger! He came to earth from triforia, his name was trey, something happened to him and he split in to 3 separate clones of himself, trey of heart, trey of courage and trey of wisdom, which meant as long as he wasn't one he could no longer obtain the gold ranger powers, and would eventually lose them if another person who could take over, tommy said to zordon "i think i know who could" then in the next episode jason the original red ranger from mmpr returned to be the gold ranger, as billy did try to obtain the powers but couldn't because of the negative energy that was given off during the explosion in the last episode of mmpr, so there for he could not obtain the power. So jason did have the gold ranger power, but only temporarily as the gold rangers power was not meant to be obtained by a human, and jason would pay the price of the gold rangers power either destroying, him and be came to drain his life force, as zordon said "the struggle to maintain the powers of the universe can become very unstable on the human form" so to save jason's life tommy requested that trey had to come and take the powers back, trey returned, and zordon suggested "that there was only one way to save jason and restore treys powers. a unification beam must be fired in alinement (meaning when the planets were in a triangle hen's Triforia) the beam must be fired when the planet were in alignment" and couldn't avoid the side effects, the ranger found a an alien triangle symbol on the ground and the 3 treys stood around, jason on the triangle while the power was infused within the golden power staff, and trey rejoined as one again as the gold ranger started off, trey helped the zeo rangers fight one last battle with king mondo as to show his thanks for helping him. n_n
